TRUTH OR DARE

Two weeks have passed—that's two weeks of life, breath, and opportunity. And now, it's time to get honest.
This week is about truth and transparency.
Each time we gather, we come for different reasons—some to receive a word, others to serve. But very few come willing to undress… to lay it all bare before God.
This week in our Check-in Discussion, we’re challenging ourselves with: “Truth or Dare.”Not the childhood game—but a spiritual call. The dare to get real.
We love sharing testimonies of financial breakthroughs, new cars, job promotions. But when someone quietly admits they’re behind on bills or struggling to believe again—how often do we respond with silence or shame?
Too often, we celebrate highlight reels while hiding the parts of our lives that don’t seem to align with God’s promises. And instead of freedom, we end up trying to maintain standards God never placed on us.
Why?
Acceptance.
From the pulpit to the pews, we wrestle with the fear of not being enough… not being approved.
But here’s the truth: What you don’t confront will continue to control you.
Next week, I dare you to go deeper.
Not into others—but into yourself.
How many compromises did you make? How many voices did you obey that weren’t God's?How many silent agreements did you make with fear, pride, lust, or shame?
This isn’t about exposure. It’s about freedom.
Because when we stay silent to protect a title or image, we prove the companions we talk about in class are not just ideas… they're present, persuasive, and in some cases, still in charge.
But here's the hope: Freedom begins with truth.
So I lovingly dare you—not to confess what you see in others, but to acknowledge what you’ve been carrying… and choose change.
